I have *almost* unsubscribed to net.general several times in the last few weeks. You all know why. When I finally do unsubscribe, I will probably post an article to net.news explaining why I did so, in a vain effort to influence the abusers. I'll tell you its probable suggestions in advance: (1) abolish net.general, or, if you can't stomach that, (2) in future usenets do not allow an article to be submitted to net.general *and* net.anything-else.
