[comp.os.os2.misc] Installation of OS/2 1.1

Hello,

Whenever I want to install the System 1.1 are the following
messages on the screen and the system stops.

THE SYSTEM DETECTED A INTERRUPT THAT CANNOT BE MASKED
TRAP 0002

THE SYSTEM DETCTED AN INTERNAL PROCESSING ERROR AT LOCATION  0218:0797

Does anyone have the same problem or knows how to solve ?


My configuration is:

Commodore AT 40/20
Award Bios 3.01A
20 MB Epson Hard Drive
45 MB Microscience Hard Drive
Omti MFM Controller
Optima VGA Card

I've had the SAME problems installing OS/2 1._2_.
I've used both the IBM OS/2 1.2SE and Microsoft's 1.21 OEM version
on an ALR 25386DT machine with a 120M drive, 4M ram, and the
ATI VGAwonder card.

The actual contents of the error screen (most of the time) are:

The system detected an interrupt that cannot be masked.

I've occasionally had a trap C at location 0220:3397, and 
once or twice a line "Exception in device driver:OEMHLP$".

If anyone has a solution for these problems, please post/mail.
