Hi everyone ! I have a problem ! I want to start a Lotus Notes Server under OS/2
Version 1.2.1 (Microsoft). This causes no problems, even the netbios from Novell
runs perfectly. The problem is the modem. I only can attach a 2400 Modem.
If I connect a 9600 Modem, the initialisation hangs up, even the hangup-command
does not respond. I tried a standard hayes-Modem and a special modem from
Dr. Neuhaus (German Manufacturer) with special MNP Protocol. The problem is,
that the Notes Server will not initialize the modem. If I run the modem under DOS
with a normal terminal programm, it will work very fine. Anyone has any Ideas ?
I am very confused about this problem. The trap: Lotus don't knows much about
modems, Microsoft don't knows much about Lotus Notes and so on...
I presume, that OS/2 does not support 9600 Modems ? And why does the 2400 Modem
work then ? Please email me !
