Has anyone ever managed to use a plotter (IBM or HP) with the PM print manager to print metafiles using PicPrint. I have a metafile which contains a number of simple line graphs. The file displays okay in PicShow and will print okay when the laserjet driver is selected in the print manager. However selecting either an IBM plotter or an HP plotter has a somewhat bizzare effect. The print job appears on the queue, says it's printing amid much disc activity, and disappears. Then an untitiled system print job appears, with much disk activity, and disappears. Then another, and another, and another - in fact this will continue all day unless the queue is held and all jobs cancelled yet nothing ever appears on the plotter. The plotter is actually set up correctly and functions when sent files using the IBMNULL driver. I'm using IBM OS/2 S.E. 1.2 with XR04053 applied to it on an IBM PS2/80. Anyone seen this before? Anyone know whether it can be cured? Chris Armstrong
