Has anyone tried the new Hercules graphics board (I forgot the exact name). It has a 60MHz TI 34010 processor and can do 1024x768x256. I have a few questions about it that I would like answered: 1. How does it compare with the NEC graphics engine? Which is faster? 2. How are the Windows 3.0 drivers? Which graphics modes does it use? How is the performance of the driver compared to others, like the NEC card (see question #1)? 3. Is there an OS/2 driver? Will there be one for OS/2 2.0? 4. Is the MicroChannel version out yet? If so, how does it compare with the ISA version, in performance and price? If not, does anyone know when it will come out? 5. Who has the cheapest price? I'm interested in buying a couple at a time, (one of them will be the MicroChannel version), plus some monitors for the card. 6. Which monitors do you recommend? I was thinking about NEC 4D's. How cheap can I get these monitors, and how good are they with the card? Any information from a current user of this graphics beast would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance. TT
