I am interested in connectivity between OS/2 1.2 with LAN Manager 2.0 and SUN 4.1 Sparcstations. The OS/2 boxes and the SUNS are on the same Ethernet but cannot talk each other. Please advise!!

This is because Lan Manager 2.0 uses SMB as its transmission protocol and SPARC uses TCP-IP. You need a TCP-IP gateway on your Lan Manager or TCP-IP on your OS/2 stations. TCP-IP is available from IBM (for Extended Edition) or from FTP Software or Essex Software. 3Com has some bridge offerings for LM 2.0 including TCP-IP. Ed
