I need to locate a 1/4 tape drive that can be used to backup a machine running OS/2. So far I have had no luck. Can anyone suggest a source for such a device. All of the pc hardware vendors I have contacted do not know (nor seem to care) if any of the drives they are selling for DOS have support for OS/2 1.2. The most recent issue of OS/2 and Windows Magazine had an article on Sytos tape backup software from Sytron. It will ship with Microsoft's LAN Manager 2.0 and is available for $295. Many tape backup manufacturers support Sytos. PC Magazine had a tape backup issue recently - it named OS/2 compatible drives. --kyler
