/* acf3:comp.os.os2.misc / david@hobbes.catt.ncsu.edu (David Chappell) / 9:31 am Jan 11, 1991 */ Here are the answers to two previous questions: (1) All versions of OS/2 (SE and EE) up through 1.3 run on most ISA machines. There are some clones which REQUIRE a version of OS/2 from their manufacturer, but most (like mine) work well with IBM OS/2. (2) If you install EE w/o Comm. Man. and Database Man. (as opposed to SE) the system will identify itself as EE to any programs that can detect it. Also, you get help for the EE parts, so the help files will be larger. Otherwise, it's pretty much the same. -- David T. Chappell -- david@catt.ncsu.edu North Carolina State University -- Computer And Technologies Theme Program ----------------- /* ---------- */
