[comp.os.os2.misc] problem using ftp's pc/tcp with zortech C

scott@stl.stc.co.uk (Mike Scott) (02/16/91)

We recently purchased pc/tcp for os/2 intending to use it in
conjunction with the zortech c/c++ compiler. What the advertising
literature (and salesman) failed to mention was that using the
supplied pc/tcp libraries with anything other than microsoft C isn't
supported - and indeed it won't work with the zortech system :-(. The
distributors in the UK (Unipalm) have been somewhat unhelpful (they
did offer us a refund though!)

Has anyone tried using this combination and got it to work? We need
help urgently as success of a project depends on it!

(I should add that the implementation is very complete, and the
supplied utilities - ftp(d), routed, telnet(d), etc) seem to work
well.)
