[comp.os.os2.misc] COM3: with ISA bus and OS/2

lairdkb@mentor.cc.purdue.edu (Kyler Laird) (02/17/91)

So far my laptop is using com1: for a trackball and com2: for the (internal)
FAX MODEM. I have an 8-bit ISA slot (which I prefer to use for other things).
Now I'm needing another com: port to connect to my 68HV11EVB. Also, I'd like
to connect this com: port to an RF receiver to respond to signals from
the (wireless) trackball.

So...if I could build another port with integral RF receiver and package it
internally (without using the extra slot), I'd be quite pleased.

Any ideas?
