Help! I previously had plain OS/2 1.2 with the usual print queues. I then installed PCSA for OS/2 1.1 (a DECnet network enorinment), which comes with Lan Manager 2.0. The installation also installed version 1.21 of the print manager/spooler, etc. Everything continued to work, with my print programs all coming from the lanman directory. I have just installed OS/2 1.3. It installed okay (apart from ignoring all the changes to config.sys from other previously installed software), except my printing programs are all still coming from lanman, which is still at 1.21. I now have no printing! There seems to be some incompatiblity b/w 1.3 and 1.21, as when I install print drivers the print manager does not see them so there is a queue but no printers! The new print routines are all there, but never accessed since I am working off Lan Manager all the time (as a workstation). Has anybody any ideas? I find Lan Manager to be a pain in my environment where I don't share my resources, but I need it to get at other's resources, so I cannot get rid of it. I have been thinking about starting over completely with a fresh disk but that will be horrific given all my installed junk. Plus who knows whether that will work. I like 1.3 overall though, much better looking and closer to Windows 3. Otherwise, memory consumption seems about the same. Please either email or post, or carrier-pidgeon, or esp... Mark Kosten

OS/2 1.3 needs to have LanMan 2.0b running (should be available from whoever sold you your LanMan)
