I'm trying to use a HP LaserJet/Epson to FAX program with OS/2. The link I'm currently missing is a method for capturing printer output to a file. This seems trivial since the original file gets spooled anyway. If I could convert the spooled file I'd be fine. It shouldn't matter, but I also need to be able to keep the description file associated with the spooled file. I'm using the filename parameter to determine the FAX destination. I intend to use this primarily with Word and OS/2, but I want a method that will work in place of the standard system print queue driver so that I could use it from any OS/2 (or DOS) application. Thanks! --kyler

I seem to recall an option in MS Windows that allows one to set up a file as output for a device name. Does something similar exist for OS/2? I'm trying to route printer output (spooled from LAN) to a file/files. --kyler
