[comp.os.os2.misc] Dual boot OS/2 1.1 and DOS 4.0

IO80141@MAINE.BITNET (Steve Trefethen) (04/16/91)

I have read several articles about dual boot for OS/2 1.2 and 2.0
but none for 1.1. I realize there were changes to 1.2 to
accomodate dual boot however there are several utilities like
bootany.sys that "allow" for booting other OS's but all the
   documentation refers to 1.2.
   Any help would be great!
   thanx in advance.

There was an article in PC Tech Journal a few years ago that covered 1.1 and
a small utility to do dual boot. It put a menu up on the screen and you
hit one of two keys for the system to boot, with a 15 second timeout
after which a 'preferred' system was booted.

Also see a recent PC Magazine and a sophisticated utility called MBOOT. You'll
need to download it from someplace (it will probably appear somewhere on the
net).
