hr summary of bulletins 29 and 31 and dec. 1984 qst
to all radio amateurs  bt

effective june 17 amateurs can operate rtty, fax  and  sstv  on
160 meters per report & order in docket 84-959.

effective 0001 utc june 22 the 30 meter band  becomes  official
(10,100 to 10,150 khz).

also effective 0001 utc june 22, we  get  the  12  meter  band.
while  the  30  meter  band will remain restricted to a1 and f1
emissions with 200 watts pep, the 12 meter band will  not  have
power restrictions. 12 meter band emissions will be as follows:

24,890 to 24,930   a1 and f1
24,930 to 24,990   a1, a3, a4, a5, f3, f4, and f5

at this time, there is no plan to release 18,068 to 18,168  khz
to u.s. amateurs before 1989   ar
