Did you know that according to Personal Computer World, June issue, that most of the people contributing to this newsgroup are 'perverts' ? No ? Well this is one of the many 'profound' statements written in an article appearing in the newsprint column in an article about the recent IBM showing of OS/2 2.0. the exact text reads, "... And just to please the perverts, let's make sure it can also run all OS/2 applications; ..." I find it quite astonishing that magazines can get away with this complete trash. Have they got nothing better to do?? The article then goes on to say that it thinks that OS/2 2.0 isn't OS/2 at all and should be called something completely different. What you may ask??? Well, they suggest "Tracey" Just what does this kind of article achieve, apart from letting out the authors obvious dislike for IBM and OS/2. To say it's not OS/2 in my view just shows a complete misunderstanding. Mind you, this is the same magazine that in it's reveiw of OS/2 EE 1.2 was complaining that the database interface was still a full screen application, showing that they couldn't even have run run the program... No wonder the PC market is in such a state of confusion with this sort of drivel appearing. Uuuggggghhhhh!!!! It makes me so mad ... What do you you guys feel about this sort of tabloid one-upmanship?? Dumbfounded and at a loss for words... Ian Stickland.
