Hello netusers

I now this is a silly question but i want some answers.

Whats the difference between OS/2 1.x SE and OS/2 1.x EE ??
Can i run OS/2 EE on any machine ?

Extended Edition is basically Standard Edition with extra goodies, like
Communication Manager, LAN Requester, and Data Base Manager (or whatever
it is called).  Also, since EE is usually released after SE, I would
imagine that any additional bug fixes to the base system might be
included.

SE (Standard Edition) consists only of the base operating system. This
includes Presentation Manager, Print Manager and other fundamental bits
and pieces.

EE (Extended Edition) consists of the base operating system (SE) plus the
Communications Manager (including terminal emulation (3270, ASCII, 5250
workstation), LAN functions, misc. 3270 support, host graphics support),
the Lan Requester and the Database Manager (including Query Manager &
Remote Data Services).

Yes, if you have the disk space. V1.2 EE consumes approx 30Mb, V1.3 EE is
approx 26Mb.
