[net.ham-radio] Help wanted: antique SW receiver

ender@SU-ISL (05/11/85)

I have an antique Hallicrafters SX-28 `Super Skyrider' general
coverage short-wave receiver that I used play with when I was in high
school. It is a good receiver and since it won't cost me much, I would
like to have it operating again, but I seem to have lost my manual and
I do not remember which tubes it uses. I recall seeing a list of its
tubes in an ancient CQ (QST?) or an old ARRL Handbook. Can an old-timer
help me out? Thanks much in advance...
