I could use a little assistance regarding the Type 1 fonts that are available in various places on the net. I just bought OS/2 v1.3 and have my 386 setup to run either DOS and Windows 3.0 or OS/2. (OS/2's dual boot mode). Can ATM Type 1 fonts (on cica for example) that are out there for Windows 3 and ATM be used in OS/2? It seems the answer should be YES! But the only the .pfm and .pfb files are usually included with the fonts, and OS/2 seems to be looking for the .afm files as well. What are these files? Is there a work-around? This I am sure is a FAQ, which I have not found yet for OS/2 on the net. Thanx in advance for any help. Jim Brannon brannon@tramp.colorado.edu BTW: I had no trouble installing OS/2 (except for a bad sector which developed on a OS/2 disk) and really love it. After all the headaches I have had using and developing for DOS+Windows, OS/2 seems like a step in the right direction. I PRAY that it takes off w/ version 2 and we can start forgetting about DOS and its baggage.
