HELP! GEEZ! Just when I though IBM was getting it together! ;-) I have been reading this info on IBM's EEP (Early Exper. Prog) and thought... Hey! I think I'll try that.... BUT! as the story so frequently goes: I called my local IBM dealer... I asked about the OS/2 2.0 early experience program. They (of course) had no idea what os/2 2.0 or early experience was... "NO Problem I thought! I have this really nifty phone number for you to call to get info on it. The number is 1-800-IBM-2468. The lady ad ComputerLand said "Great, I give it a call and call you right back!" 4 minutes later my phone rings... Wow that was quick! sure enough it was the lady from computerland... She called the 800 number and asked about the os2 2.0 and the early experience program.. The people on the other end of the phone knew nothing about either.. She was calling me back to get more information on the Program (both software program and EEP) to ***EXPLAIN IT TO THE PEOPLE AT THE 800 NUMBER!*** Wow. What gives? Flame me if you must, (heaven only knows, I may have gotten everything all mixed up) MOg P.S. As always thanx to Larry and the others for helping the little guys. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Michael P. Well, I tried calling the 1-800 number in Canada and the lady on the phone knew about the EEP but dismissed my application because I didn't work at a company with lots of IBM machines even though I've already got OS/2 1.3. So I probably won't get to do any work with OS/2 until it gets released. What a bummer. Hmmmph. Phil Wu phwu@vancouver.osiware.bc.ca
