My sister-in-law has at her work an IBM PC XT with 640 k and a hard disk. It also has an Expanded Memory Manager. When she boots up everything seems to be happening as expected untill an error message appears: Bad or missing command interpeter. Of couse, the IBM PC guru that originally installed the system no longer works for the company so it will be her that gets her stuff running again. She tried booting up with a floppy disk that had DOS on it and copying the file command.com to the hard disk root directory and then booting up from the hard disk, but she got a message saying that the wrong versiont of DOS was being used. She did not thing the DOS on the hard disk came from the floppy, so that makes sense. Has anyone out there ever run into the same problem and if so, what did you do. Thanks in advance. Mitch HortoN
