Does anyone know what the current strongest bridge program that's available for the PC is? Which one in the most flexible (in terms of conventions)? A friends parents (both of whom are life masters) are very interested, and she'd really like a strong program to play so that she could work on not being trounced by them, also. Additionally, I need to work on my game, although I don't like to admit it. All responses are greatly appreciated, and I'll personally answer all responses that I get in addition to posting a summary later. Thanks! -Chris (clong@utopia.rutgers.edu)

If computer-based bridge opponents evolve the same way as chess opponents, she doesn't have anything to worry about, at least for a while. :-) jim =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= "The opinions expressed here in no way represent the views of Digital Equipment Corporation."
