Hi there, I manage a lab full of HP Vectra ES/12's at UC Berkeley and would like some info on ethernet cards for them. We are currently using the standard thick ethernet lines in a room full of IBM-AT's with Ungerman-Bass boards (running Novell Netware 286). We tried dropping one of these UB boards into an ES/12 but kept getting a message stating that the board could not be initialized; any idea what's going on here? Anyway, the number of ES/12's we have out number the number of UB boards in our possesion and we need to get more. What are your recommendations for ethernet cards? We will be running Netware 286 most of the time but will be using TCP/IP on occasion. Any info and leads will be greatly appreciated. Danny Lee danny@garnet.berkeley.edu (415) 642-0434
