Does anybody out there know a straightforward way to find out whether or not a file exists on the harddisk while a LOTUS macro is running ? The only thing I could come up with was the "/File Admin Table Worksheet" command, which creates a list of filenames in a given cell range. One could then search this table for the desired filename. Just attempting to load the file and then using the ONERROR function to trap errors failed, since this seems to clear the subroutine (or rather "sub-macro") stack. I can't believe that there isn't a more simple solution to this ! Any ideas ? ______________________________________________________________________ Werner Keilholz | Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory | Tel.: 001-415-486-6878 Building 90, Room 3074 | E-Mail: envwpk@epb2.lbl.gov 1 Cyclotron Road | (pn=envwpk, ou=epb2, on=lbl, pd=gov, Berkeley, CA 94720 | from rrze-CYBER: [ad=dbp, c=de] ) USA |
