I'm borrowing a PC (Zenith 286, VGA, 640K, 70M, 1.44M 3.5") which seems to be working fine. It boots from the hard disk, I can read and write to the floppy ok, no problems. Well -- one problem. I can't get it to boot from the floppy. I put the disk in, switch on (or ctrl-alt-del) and the light on the drive flicks on then off again before the stupid thing boots from the hard disk. Anyone got any ideas what could be wrong? Might it be something simple or do I have to get someone in to fix it? Thanks in advance. --- Keith Richards | RT3321, BT Research Labs, Martlesham Heath, IP5 7RE, UK. +44 473 642473 | krichards@axion.bt.co.uk (...mcvax!ukc!axion!krichards)

Press ALT-CTRL-INS, move to the boot option and select the option to boot from the floppy first, then the hard drive. Hope this helps. Tu Doan el365115@pc.usl.edu
