[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] What do the codes on my floppy mean?

I have this Nashua floppy here.  It has no hub ring.  So I am assuming it is
a 1.2MB disk.  But what do all the little codes in the top left corner mean?

Here is what it says:
		MD-2F WP
		DS/DO
		SS/96TPI

Now I know that 1.2MB floppies have 96TPI (tracks per inch) but does SS mean
Single Sided?

Just curious.  :-)
