I recently purchased a 2S,1P,1G I/O card for my system (33/386 AMI motherboard). The problem is the card does not fit properly into my system. After plugging it into the 8bit slot, the card does not screw in properly on the "grill". It seems that it would work fine if my motherboard was not on the stand-offs, but my WD7000 controller fits into it fine. (So I dont think its any installation problem on my part). Are all I/O cards of this height? I dont mind screwing it in part way to keep it steady but when you screw it in all the way, it puts too much pressure on the card and pushs it forward (and seems to angle the back of the case). But my main concern is that the game port doesnt not come into view where it should, half of it is hidden behind the "grill" while the other half is exposed where it should be. This is kind of hard to explain, but hopefully others know what I'm talking about. Basically, are all cards the same height? Or did I get a bad sized (height) card for my system? I'm afraid I dont have the name or manufacturer of the card, but I did get it for a good deal ($25). Any help is appreciated!! Thanks.
