I am looking into the possibility of setting up a FAX server on a PC. The idea I am hoping to implement would have a PC supporting SMTP mail receive e-mail (eg. fax@loc.domain.name) and then have a program (script?) decide to e-mail the message or FAX it. This decision would be a relatively basic one - if I can't e-mail to this address, then FAX. My questions are: 1) anybody have ideas on this?? Feasability?? any working models out there?? is this unrealistic?? etc... 2) any recommendations on a FAX board for the PC offering the best price/performance ratio Any ideas, help, recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Dave -- Dave Danielson (daved@tsdiag.ccur.com) Concurrent Computer Corporation FAX : 201/870-5952 2 Crescent Place Oceanport,NJ 07728 UUCP : ucbvax!rutgers!petsd!tsdiag!daved PHONE: 201/870-4137
