I'm in need of a good editor, and am considering Brief and Epsilon. I need to edit source code as well as large files (10 Mb), which unfortunately rules out micro Emacs, (it could not even edit the doc file that came with it). Anyway, if you have experience with Brief and Epsilon, please email me your opinions on cabability, ease of use, speed, etc. One thing I would like to be able to do is to sort sections of fixed and variable record length text files within the editor. Epsilon 5.0 is $119 (cheep, but beta?) and Brief 3.0 is $169 (but offers a 30 day trial). I'll summarize responses if interest warrants. Thanks very much, Stanton Loh u2zj@vax5.cit.cornell.edu
