Hello all. I have been given the responsibility of picking a
386 clone for my sister to buy. The rquirements are as follows:
386 -25mhz
2 megs RAM or more
Super VGA or better graphics
fast HD controller
at least 40 megs of HD (faster than 23ms)
3 1/2" drive
These are basic requirements. Any extra bells and whistles are fine,
of course. I checked out Computer Shopper and saw ads from Northgate
Gateway, Zeos and a few others. Which one is more reputable to deal
with? I've been an Atari ST person for ages so any info you could
pass my way would be more than welcome.
Please respond directly to me and I'll summarize to the group. No
sense flooding the net if this topic has already been hashed out
5 or 6 times in the last month. :)
