I recently posted a note asking how to play MAC sound files on the SoundBlaster board. Thanks for the help. My new question is: How can I play Adlib .ROL files on the SoundBlaster? I got a copy of a program called "playrol" to play these files from the DOS command line, but the program dumped me back to DOS when it didn't find the appropriate Adlib driver. Is there another method I can use, or can I trick "playrol" into working?

From memory it called sound.com and comes with the David> Adlib card, unfortunately not with the Sound Blaster. There is evidently a conversion program on the Creative Labs BBS (no, I don't have a number) to convert ROL files to CMF for playcmf to play, according to a previous poster. Also sound.com seems to be included with some games. I found a copy included with NY Warriors, if I remember correctly.
