[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] Comm program

cmm1@cunixa.cc.columbia.edu (Christopher M Mauritz) (09/15/90)

Hi there. I'm looking for a decent shareware/PD comm program.
Basically, I am looking for:

vtXXX emulation
xmodem
zmodem
Kermit
journal function to save what is in the text buffer

Is there such an animal?

Where can I find it?

Also, where is there a decent MS-DOS archive that is available
by anonymous FTP (IPC number would be most helpful)?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris

There are several, eg Telix, Procomm, MsKermit, Telemate, and so on.

I don't know about our decency :-) but you can get these programs
from chyde.uwasa.fi, Vaasa, Finland, 128.214.12.3, directory /pc/pd2
or /pc/comm.
