[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] Good Assembly Language Programming guide

ghenniga@nmsu.edu (Gary Hennigan) (09/18/90)

I'm looking for a couple of things. First I'd like people's
thoughts on a good learning guide on assembly language programming,
specifically for Intel 386 based processors, but it also needs to
be comprehensive since some of the things I need to learn are pretty
complex. This may include going way down to the machine level.
Also I'd like to know if there are any other and/or better assembly
language compilers other than MS Assembler and what their prices are.

Thanks for the info and please e-mail responses and I'll be glad to
post or e-mail if anyone else is interested in the info.
