Is anyone aware of hardware products which can connect PC's and serial printers using phone wire connections (similar to how Macs are connected using Farallon PhoneNet connectors)?? Yes, AT&T makes a great product line which allows serial connections to be routed via UTP. We not only use these connections for printers, but also for routing asynch devices to protocol converters.
