My cousin-in-law has a new IBM Laserprinter E 4019, and wants a variety of fonts to run with Microsoft Word. We've got all the drivers and stuff from the MS Word end, but apparently we need a little more on the printer end in order to get it to all run, most likely a batch of downloadable fonts. The documentation with the printer says you can order some disks of these from IBM; anyone have any idea whether this is really what we want to do, and if so, how much IBM is going to want? Or, is there another way to go about this? Right now all we've managed to get out of this thing is Courier in a couple of sizes, some Helvetica, and something that looks like Times Roman. Does anyone out there have some experience with IBM Laserprinters? This is my first time working with one. Thanks a bunch for any assistance, -Ann annmh@blake.u.washington.edu Disclaimer: yes, I'm going to call IBM, I just thought I'd see what the "unofficial" word was, as well as the official one. At least I read the manuals!
