A question for anyone with some experience with Word for Windows: I'm an experienced user of Microsoft Word and Mac Word so the shift to Word for Windows was pretty natural (so, I haven't read the manuals). I was wondering why the screen, doesn't reflect what is one the paper. The problem I ran into was that I had changed the font to Courier 10 pt and for some reason, the screen (and the print previewer) would show the right margin as being at about the 5" mark on the paper even though the margin was set to 7". Now, at first, I thought there was some setting problem but when I printed it, it actually did extend out to the 7" margin. I don't understand why, in VGA mode, the program didn't show me that either on the page or the print previewer? Could it be because I had the printer set to an EPSON 9-pin? I tend to think that it isn't, but it's the only reason that came to mind. Cliff Chen raleff@jhunix.hcf.jhu.edu
