Does any body know about Virtual Memory Linker on DOS ? It is offered by a company called Pocket Soft Inc. It has released Virtual Memory Linker called .RTLink+ 4.0. I want to know whether any body is using. According to it's specifications, you don't have to change your source code to achieve the Virtual capability. All you have to do is just a response file for linker specifying the object modules to be overlayed. The linker creates pages and these pages are swapped on to Expansion memory or Extended memory or Hard disk and brought back as needed during run time. You can run a program of 3 to 4 megabytes in 300K of conventional (DOS) memory. The performance may not affect in most of the cases. It can support Microsoft's Code View to debug. Also, it can support many languages like Microsoft's C, Quick C, MASM, Fortran etc. I would like to know more about this linker. Please send e-mail to me at shivap@agora.hf.intel.com Thanks in advance. Shivaprasad Sadashivaiah
