qst de k9eui hr arrl bulletin nr 43 from arrl headquarters newington ct june 18, 1985 to all radio amateurs bt the fcc has proposed to allow volunteer examiner coordinators to maintain the question pools used for amateur exams. this maintenance is presently done by the fcc. if this proposal is adopted, vecs would be required to maintain question pools containing at least ten times the number of questions actually used on each exam, and would be required to publish the pools as well as the formulas used to create exams. comments may be filed on this proposal until august 30, 1985. formal comment requires the filing of an original and five copies to the secretary, fcc, washington, dc 20554. copies of the nprm will be available from arrl hq for an sase with 39 cents postage ar
