In the Radio Moscow DX Program on June 24, 1985 host Sergi Egorov mentioned that soviet hams have had good dxing conditions in the vhf bands of 65.8-73 MHZ and 87.5-108 MHZ. I thought the 72 MHZ region was used in Europe, as the 30-50 MHZ band is used here in the USA. I also thought the other band was for fm broadcast, although the WRTVH lists no fm stations in the USSR.
