[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] Borland C++ Professional and Microsoft Windows 3.0

tow@arisia.Xerox.COM (Rob Tow) (10/13/90)

I am interested in writing some large and fast image processing applications
for Microsoft Windows 3.0; I have heard that Borland's C++ Professional
is "good stuff"; but does it support building Microsoft Windows 3.0
applications yet?

...I have been using Borland's Turbo C for some fast and dirty development
on an IBM AT running DOS 3.3, and have liked it *much* better than
Microsoft's C 5.0... but I now face the need, as I said above, to build
some stuff that will run under Microsoft Windows 3.0.
