[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] REMAC.EXE and Conversion Utilities

glcowin@uokmax.ecn.uoknor.edu (Gregory Linn Cowin) (10/17/90)

Does anyone have a program that will convert Amiga sound files to a format
that REMAC.EXE (recently posted to comp.binaries.ibm.pc) can understand?

If so, please mail one to me in any form (uuencode, source, whatever):

Appreciate it!

Not for REMAC. Something better. Check our pc/sound
directory. There is package called ScreamTracker that plays
and converts Sound Tracker sounds. Looks or should I say
sounds great. The file you need is st22.zip. There are a
couple of ready to play files also. brain.zip and rotate.zip
for example. Then there are some demos in our pc/demo dir.

As admin. at ccb.ucsf.edu (The Sound-Site) I am also interested in such a
program if it exists. I do know TRAKBLAS will play it on a SOUND BLASTER
board though it has been known to have some problems. Please e-mail me
the file (uuencoded) if have the Amiga/remac converter. Also get ready
because PLAYMAC 2.00 (a user-friendly shell for REmac) should be available
within a week.
