The Girl Scouts of Monmouth county would like to help young women become more involved with careers in the electronics and communications industry. They are in the process of setting up a program for senior scouts and are seeking donations of amateur radio and CB equipment. They are specifically seeking all types of CB radio items such as antennas, mobile units and base stations. They would also like to set up an amateur radio station covering the HF and 2 meter bands. Equipment would include the radios, antennas, tower and support equipment such as a tuner and SWR meter.
