I asked, "How do I create a text file from Quattro Pro?" Many of you responded that I should simply use the /Print Destination File option, and that would give me what I want. Unfortunately, this gave me PostScript in the file. I finally called Borland Technical Support. They answered almost immediately with a very helpful gentleman. GREAT JOB BORLAND! (I called at 8:35 AM PST and the whole call took only three minutes.) It turns out that their documentation is slightly wrong. It says that the /Print Destination File causes Quattro Pro to print to the file as if it is printing to a text printer. Well, this is the case *except* if I chose a PostScript printer as my default printer. I chose a second printer to be anything else, and then things work as documented. So apparently, nobody in netland has a PostScript printer as their default printer for Quattro Pro. Thanks for all the responses! Tim
