[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] Sample editor wanted for Soundblaster

rwyckoff@eagle.wesleyan.edu (10/23/90)

Does anyone have or know of a utility to edit Soundblaster samples? At
the very least, it should be able to cut any amount off the start or end of a
sample, but my wish list would include: graphic editing, cut and paste from any
part of any number of samples, and waveform editing.
I have been thinking about writing a very simple version, but I'm not
sure if I have the time or the programming skill. Post or e-mail any
information.
		Thanks,

Try ccb.ucsf.edu [128.218.1.13]. This is an archive site used for sound
samples which you CAN use with the SoundBlaster (Pub/Sound_list). Also,
on this site there is a basic sample cut and paste program - SEEVOX - or
something similar.
It works, ok slowly, but it does allow cut operations. Now if only I had
the developers kit, I'd write one..... :-)

Hope this is what you are after.
