When I run the IBM Diagnostics program (version 2.0) on my IBM-PC, I get the following error message: "Error - System Unit 1101" Does anyone know what this means ? I would like to repair my IBM-PC myself, if possible. FYI, I have an IBM-PC with one floppy drive and a 40 Meg hard disk. It was originally a 2-floppy IBM-PC. The hard-disk was an add-on. (more stuff deleted) Yes, error 1101 = Async Adapter Failed. This means your serial port is broken. -- //////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Carl Bergerson carl@point4.com uunet!p4tustin!carl
