NOLAND@USC-ISI.ARPA (Steve Noland) (07/11/85)

Does anyone out there know what the going rate on the used market is for
the following equipment:

Heath SB104 with external VFO and power supply

Heath Apache (TX-1), Mohawk (RX-1), and SB-10 SSB adapter

Model 19 TTY set, incl. typing reperf.

Thanks in advance,

Steve, WA6KLC

I don't know about the other equipment but you'll probably have to pay
someone $50-$100 to take the Model 19. Too bad, it was a pretty neat piece
of gear in its day, but, its day ended 3 to 5 years ago. I, sadly, took
mine to the dump early this year to make room for some goodies that won't
be obsolete until next year.

Heath Apache w/o SSB adapter: $10. (Post at your local marina.)

Apache with SSB adapter: $150 - $225. (Prices seen at recent hamfest.)

SSB adapter w/o Apache: $150 - $225. (Find some Apache owner without SSB.)

Suggestion: try to get what you can for the SSB adapter, then donate the
Apache to a school or ham club. I owned an Apache for years and know that
there are more Apache's than SSB adapters out there!
