I'm a happy user of FastBack version 2.09 in the office, on a Compaq, but at home, I've a bit a wheird hardware environment, and would like to ask, whether it's there worthwhile to update to version 2.10. The thing is, that I've an AT&T6300 with a Sysgen Bridge 1.44 MByte 3 1/2 inch drive connected to a second diskette controller, which of course resides on a different port address than the first one for the 360 kByte Floppies. Of course, I'd like to use the bigger diskettes for the backups, but can't have DMA access to them from Fastback 2.09 and have to use the much slower option to back up 'to a regular DOS path' to get the job done. So, the question is, does version 2.10 correctly recognize a secondary diskette controller for a possible backup destionation? -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- UUCP: ...mcvax!cernvax!forty2!eichi Stefan Eichenberger BITNET: K807817@CZHRZU1A University of Zurich ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
