I don't know if this is the right newsgroup to ask in--- I have NCSA telnet 2.3beta10 and want to use it on a dialin SL/IP line. Question 1) Does anybody have a working configuration for SL/IP. I am using a NEC APC IV, but I believe that the serial chip is an 8250, since I have successfully started KA9Q using an older(?) version of the SL/IP packet driver. I would be interested in your config.tel file, and in anything you've specified in your autoexec.bat (or elsewhere) for starting the packet driver. I don't know much about how these things work... Question 2) If you have what I need for the above, do you also have a mechanism for driving a login script to login into the machine I need to talk to. [With KA9Q, I've just used Kermit, then pushed to DOS before invoking KA9Q. I believe KA9Q has such a mechanism, but that's the part of the documentation that got bit-rot, and I couldn't find which of the source files did the job.] For NCSA telnet, I don't have the source (but can get it). Thankful in advance -- Christopher
