[comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc] HELP!! I need to use EMS with Turbo Pascal, has anyone done it ??

HELP !!

All:

I need to use EMS because I have a connnection to a LAN and the
LAN HOGS up 100s of K, and I want desperately to use EMS so I have
more memory to develop my large Pascal programs.

I need info on EMS drivers 3.2 or later of the Lotus/Intel/Microsoft
	Expanded Memory Specification.

I have cross posted to a number of Newsgroups, but will only
check comp.sys.ibm.pc for replies on the net. I prefer that
you mail me directly. I will post a summary 11/5/90.

I'm looking for anyone who has implemented and is using EMS and
	any Turbo Compiler.

How did you do it and what hardware (config.sys device software)
devices did you use to implement it. Why are you using EMS ??

How much RAM did it require to install EMS, how much memory
was freed (is there such a word ??) from the 640K RAM ??

	Thanks in advance.

Doug

I haven't tried it myself but I can give you at least one reference
on the fly: Ohlsen & Stoker (1989), Turbo Pascal Advanced
Techniques, Que, Chapter 11.
