Last week I posted to this newsgroup regarding a bit of help with direct EGA graphics programming - ie non-BIOS application writing, and although I received a lot of help both in the form of actual programs and book recommendations, one problem still remains: What graphics modes can I program the EGA to support directly - and, more importantly, How? All the advice given still relied on the BIOS interrupt 0x10 to set modes, and talked about modes 4,7,14 etc.. but no-one could tell me how to do all this by programming directly the EGA itself.. I suppose the best bet would be a disassembled BIOS - so I could see what it actually does when int 0x10 is called.. Anyone know where I can get one for my Phoenix EGA ?? It would be much appreciated if EMAIL could be sent as I don't normally get this group!! Thanks again to those who helped before, and to those who will (hopefully??) offer help this time!..
