Does anybody out there know of a program that will write directly to a
blank (unformatted) disk for the purpose of disk duplication? I would
write one myself, but while I seem to remember that you can change the
character with which you format, I can't find the reference, so I can't
tell if you can change each byte of the sector individually. Any
pointers?

Have you tried DISKCOPY? It will copy a diskette, formatting if needed. Of course, if you're using anything larger than 360K media, it will require multiple passes since it's oblivious to expanded and extended memory. -- HI ROGER |Nikebo says "Nikebo knows how to post.
